Here at Furniture Importers, we understand how important a simple and stress-free delivery is to you. We’ve got a number of options for delivery that will suit your needs and ensure your furniture gets to you on time.

Standard Delivery

Standard Delivery is FREE for orders over £200 or £20 for orders under. We’ll get your delivery to you within 30 days, at a pre arranged time slot. Our 2 man team will deliver your order to your ground floor door only, though our staff will at their discretion place it into your room of choice – this is not guaranteed however.

Express Delivery

Express Delivery costs £40 and guarantees a delivery within 7 days of Furniture Importer’s acceptance of your order (subject to stock availability) and at a pre arranged time slot.                                                                                                                                                        
Upgrade to Premium Service

If you’d like to upgrade your delivery to include Premium Service this costs from £20 and includes delivery to a room of choice, assembly of the item and removal of the packaging. Beds, wardrobes and dining tables sets (including chairs) cost £35 per item. All other items cost £20.


Before Delivery:                                                                                                                                               

Before your delivery we ask that you consider the following questions so that we can ensure a smooth and stress-free delivery on the day:

-       Do you live on a first floor or higher?

-       Is access to your property limited?

If the answer is yes to either or both of the above questions, please let us know prior to the delivery so that we can make the appropriate arrangements. If you live on a first floor or higher a charge of £20 will be added to delivery, even if the order is above £200. Our vans are typically Luton type box vehicles, but we may be able to send the goods in a smaller vehicle if necessary. If we cannot access the property, we may charge a transport cost.

Please also make sure that the route from delivery vehicle to the room is clear of tripping hazards, furniture and/or fixtures that may constrict the path. Due to health and safety reasons, drivers are also not allowed to remove their shoes. Whilst every care will be taken, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that occur to your property or possessions whilst the delivery is in progress; it is your responsibility to protect your floors and carpets.

Remember, please check the measurements of the items to ensure they will fit into the space you plan for them. If the item has to be returned to us then you are responsible for a transport cost. Transport cost is £45 per collection/delivery, or £20 for orders under £200.

Please retain the original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your order as we need the packaging as a condition of any refunds and/or replacements. Check your new furniture for damage or missing items immediately and let us know as soon as possible. All faults should be reported to us within 4 days; please see what we do not regard as faults before contacting us. Please send all reports of faults to You may be asked us to email us some images to help us establish the fault.


About our Delivery 

Where possible we deliver via our own team and vehicles, however smaller items may be sent via a courier, and for larger items we may use a specialist furniture delivery company. We deliver to mainland UK only, if you are outside of this area please contact us for a delivery quotation.

We aim to deliver within 30 days of accepting the order, although the vast majority are within 10-14 days. If we are unable to make delivery within 30 days after you order and an alternative date has not been agreed, you are entitled to a full refund in relation to the contract. Delivery dates given are approximate, and there will be occasions where we wish to deliver your items quicker or slower than the delivery lead time states; this will done only after agreeing dates with you.

We prefer to wait until all your items are in stock before we arrange delivery. If you have an urgent need for part of your order, we can arrange for your in-stock goods to be delivered separately. Subsequently, your out of stock goods will be delivered at a later date. Please note that if you choose to split your order like this, the second delivery will incur a transport cost.

We require a signature as proof that the order has been received at delivery, so please make sure that there is someone at your home authorised to accept your delivery. The Small Print

We will deliver the goods ordered to the address you give to us at the time you make your order unless notified in email or letter. You hereby confirm: that there is adequate access & space for the goods where they are to be positioned (& assembled if that is the case) and also that any existing goods have been removed from the space where the goods are to be positioned. PLEASE NOTE we do not move or take away any existing goods or property for the purpose of assembly or placement of the goods.

You become responsible for the Goods once they have been delivered to you, they are held at your risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Furniture Importers do not offer any compensation should delivery fail to take place or is later than scheduled, including time taken off work to accept delivery and loss of income in any shape or form.
